My last stop in Jordan was to be Aqaba. Or rather a collection of bungalows next to the beach some 12 kilometres south of town, in fact closer to the Saudi-Arabian border than Aqaba. There I spent a few fantastic days swimming in the Red Sea and went scuba diving together with a nice French couple.
The Red Sea is an amazing place for diving, very varied diving spots and incredibly diverse flora and fauna. Plus: Wreck diving! :)

Mein letzter Stop in Jordanien sollte Aqaba sein. Oder vielmehr eine Ansammlung an Bungalows am Strand etwa 12 Kilometer südlich der Stadt, tatsächlich näher an der Grenze nach Saudi-Arabien als an Aqaba.
Dort verbrachte ich ein paar fantastische Tage mit Schwimmen und Gerätetauchen zusammen mit einem netten Pärchen aus Frankreich.
Das Rote Meer ist ein toller Ort zum Tauchen, sehr abwechselnde Tauchplätze und unglaublich diverse Flora und Fauna. Plus: Wracktauchen! :)
