Day trip to Masada, Ein Gedi and the Dead Sea, Palestinian territories

And another day trip, this time to the Masada fortress high up on a mountain plateau (but just barely above sea level), after that a visit to the Ein Gedi oasis and finally I had fun floating in the Dead Sea for a bit. Great combination for a day!

Und ein weiterer Tagesausflug, diesmal zur Masada-Festung hoch auf einem Berg-Plateau (aber nur wenig oberhalb des Meeresspiegels), danach ein Besuch der Oase von Ein Gedi und zum Schluss hatte ich Spaß dabei ein Bisschen im Toten Meer herum zu schweben. Super Kombination für einen Tag!

Day trip to Hebron, Palestinian territories

From Jerusalem I joined a tour to Hebron, especially focused on the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. Very informative, the tension can really be felt in this place.

Von Jerusalem aus nahm ich an einer Tour nach Hebron teil, speziell mit Fokus auf den Israelisch-Palästinensischen Konflikt. Sehr informativ, die Anspannung ist dort absolut spürbar.

I spent a full week in Jerusalem. Unbelievably much to see in the city as well as the surrounding region.

Too much really to go into detail, let's just say there is a reason this is the most important tourist destination in the country. The old city is especially fascinating.

Ich verbrachte eine ganze Woche in Jerusalem. Es gibt so unglaublich viel zu sehen in der Stadt und der umliegenden Region.

Tatsächlich zu viel um ins Detail zu gehen, sagen wir einfach es gibt einen Grund dafür das dies das wichtigste Tourismus-Ziel im Land ist. Die Altstadt ist besonders faszinierend.
