San Francisco, USA

I really liked San Francisco. It is such a cool and diverse place, each neighbourhood has a unique character. The city is perfect for walking, while it might take hours to cross from one end to the other, you are well rewarded by the sights.

San Francisco hat mir sehr gefallen. Es ist so ein cooler und diverser Ort, jedes Viertel hat einen eigenen Charakter. Die Stadt ist perfekt zum Laufen, wenn es auch Stunden dauern kann um von einem Ende zum anderen zu gelangen wird man mit tollen Aussichten belohnt.

 

Las Vegas, USA

English:
After an enjoyable bus ride through the very scenic Mojave desert I arrived in Las Vegas. What a unique place. Experienced many of the crazy and impressive things one can find there. Highly decadent, most of it.
Was not in the mood for much gambling though, so only did a bit of poker and blackjack.

Nach einer angenehmen Busfahrt durch die beeindruckende Landschaft der Mojave-Wüste kam ich in Las Vegas an. Was für ein einzigartiger Ort. Ich erlebte vieler der verrückten und imposanten Dinge die man hier finden kann. Sehr dekadent, das meiste.
War jedoch nicht in der Stimmung zum Glücksspiel, daher habe ich nur ein bisschen Poker und Blackjack gespielt.

Los Angeles, USA

English:
After crossing the international date line, thus arriving on the same day at an earlier time than when the plane took off, I landed in Los Angeles.
The hostel was right on Hollywood Boulevard right above the Walk of Fame. But the sights related to the film industry got old pretty soon, so the next days I preferred to explore Griffith Park, Long Beach and Pasadena.

Durch das überschreiten der Datumsgrenze war es früher als zum Zeitpunkt des Abflugs am selben Tag als ich in Los Angeles landete.
Das Hostel war direkt auf dem Hollywood Boulevard, direkt über dem Walk of Fame. Aber die Sehenswürdigkeiten der Filmindustrie wurden recht schnell langweilig, daher bevorzugte ich es Griffith Park, Long Beach und Pasadena zu erkunden.

Tokyo, Japan

English:
From Kyoto I was catapulted to Tokyo, flying across the landscape in a Shinkansen bullet train at insane speeds.
Tokyo is the most populous metropolitan area in the world, and a pretty cool place. I enjoyed it a lot. To make it more authentic they even scheduled an earthquake for me.

Von Kyoto wurde ich nach Tokyo katapultiert, flog mit irrsinniger Geschwindigkeit durch die Landschaft in einem Shinkansen bullet train.
Tokyo ist die bevölkerungsreichste Metropole der Welt und ein ziemlich cooler Ort. Mir hat es sehr gefallen. Um es noch authentischer zu machen wurde sogar extra für mich ein Erdbeben veranstaltet.
