After 7 months travelling my travels end. I am back in Germany.
I travelled more than 53000 kilometres and visited 12 countries. In total I spent more than 3 weeks in trains, air planes, buses and other means of transportation.
It was an amazing trip, but it is quite nice to be home again.

Nach 7 Monaten endet meine Reise. Ich bin zurück in Deutschland.
Ich habe mehr als 53000 Kilometer zurückgelegt und besuchte 12 Länder. Insgesamt verbrachte ich mehr als 3 Wochen in Zügen, Flugzeugen, Bussen und anderen Transportmitteln.
Es war eine unglaublich tolle Reise, aber es ist schön wieder zu Hause zu sein.

New York, USA

English:
My last destination in the US was New York City. An amazing place, lots of different cultures jammed into one impressive metropolis. I stayed in a really nice hostel in Harlem, not far from Central Park.
Most of the time I spent in Manhattan, only one day I was in Brooklyn.
From the things in saw, I really liked New York.

Mein letztes Ziel in den USA war New York City. Ein großartiger Ort, viele verschiedene Kulturen gepackt in eine beeindruckende Metropole. Ich wohnte in einem sehr netten Hostel in Harlem, nicht weit vom Central Park.
Die meiste Zeit verbrachte ich in Manhattan, nur einen Tag war ich in Brooklyn.
Anhand der Dinge die ich sah gefiel mir New York sehr.

Washington DC, USA

English:
My next destination was Washington, D.C., Capital City. Lots to see here, I went to the Air and Space Museum, the Museum of Natural History and the Zoo, all part of the Smithsonian Institution and all free.
Apart from that the White House of course, the Capitol and a whole lot of Monuments all over the National Mall and elsewhere.

Deutsch:
Mein nächstes Ziel war Washington, D.C., die Hauptstadt. Es gab viel zu sehen, Ich besuchte das Air and Space Museum, das Museum of Natural History und den Zoo, alle Teil der Smithsonian Institution und alle kostenlos.
Davon abgesehen natürlich das Weiße Haus, das Kapitol und eine ganze Menge von Monumenten überall auf der National Mall und anderswo.

Seattle, USA

English:
Another quick flight later I arrived in Seattle. Located between evergreen forests and the Puget Sound, the area is fascinating, relaxed and welcoming. Was home to Nirvana, Jimi Hendrix and the first Starbucks.
Went to the Pike Place Market, where there are lots of artisan food places and such. Thanks to a friendly Washingtonian I even got a free ride up the Space Needle. Visited lots of other cool places too. The EMP museum was good, bit expensive though.

Einen weiteren kurzen Flug später kam ich in Seattle an. Die Stadt liegt zwischen immergrünen Wäldern und der Puget-Meerenge, ist faszinierend, entspannt und einladend. War die Heimat von Nirvana, Jimi Hendrix und dem ersten Starbucks.
Ich ging zum Pike Place Market wo man eine große Auswahl an hausgemachtem Speisen und derlei Dingen hat. Dank eines freundlichen Washingtonians bekam ich sogar freien Eintritt auf die Space Needle. Besuchte viele weitere coole Orte. Das EMP Museum war gut, aber etwas teuer.
