Because of the regions unique climate and flora, the city got the nickname "city of flowers", and because it looks very European, it is called "Le petit Paris" by some.
After months of permanent heat, this was such an enjoyable experience.

Durch das einzigartige Klima und Flora in der Region trägt die Stadt den Beinamen "Stadt der Blumen" und da sie sehr europäisch aussieht wird sie von manchen "Le petit Paris" genannt.
Nach Monaten dauernder Hitze war dies eine sehr angenehme Erfahrung.
